Tom Hanna said...: Unfortunately I'm not sure that the folks at the Bush campaign understand the internet well enough for this to have been at all a conscious thing. They have no effort to organize online beyond the website and the independent "Blogs for Bush" effort. There are still more Dean supporters than Bush supporters in arch-conservative Joplin registered with Meetup.com. My guess - Kerry campaign had some interns familiar with Apache, etc. when they were starting out while Bush's campaign said "Here's a purchase order."

I fully intend to stick with the open source stuff myself. It's not a matter of politics.; 9:01 PM
