Google Adsense is gone. Permanently.

KipEsquire said...: I signed up for AdSense more out of curiosity to see how it would select my ads rather than to make a fortune. So far I've been associated with Bush supporters (nope), Kerry supporters (nope), Greenpeace (nope), Catholic dating services (NOPE NOPE NOPE), collection agencies (nope), and expert witness referral services (hmm...).

But the Arkanssouri post motivated me to check, for only the second time, my AdSense profits:

Two months...10,000 page views...1 click...three cents.

Obviously I'm not a market-moving entity or even a representative sampling, but I really think this program will not be around a year from now.; 1:16 PM
Tom Hanna said...: I've made several hundred dollars off adsense with a CPM of about $15 overall. I set up separate channels for the different sites I use it on a few weeks ago and my blog has a CPM closer to $5 and a lot of days with no clicks. Which is fine, I mostly put it on there so people could have fun costing the pro-Kerry sites 15 or 20 cents a click.; 4:55 PM
