I find it interesting, given stories I've re-told in the past few days, that Dr. Rood's cycling companion that famous night was the fellow who witnessed the famous "Cap'n Bob & Donut" or, "Bert n Ernie Doll" story. Indeed, I thought he and Dr. Rood shared the love that dare not speak its name, but such was not the case, apparently.
