I wonder who owns the house or pays the rent? I'm guessing the court ruled that he's responsible because he owns the house. Which is fine, but that means they are living in his house. If I was the 'pensioner' I'd be finding some new roomies and writing "daughter Karin" out of my will.
No doubt! The court could have at least officially proclaimed the daughter and her husband ingrates... If they weren't paying rent, they'd be moving soon if I were the old man...
