It is perverse abomination . . .
. . . that $2.39 a gallon is in the green range.
Apparently, there must be a gigantic deposit of black gold under the Mountain Time Zone. That's the only explanation I have for gas being cheaper there than on the coasts.
Anyone have a tanker I can borrow? Gas is $.12 per gallon in Venezuela.
If you run across the Exxon Valdez on ebay for, like, a buck and a half, let me know.

When I lived in Colorado eons ago, and we'd occasionally end up in Salt Lake City, I remember oil refineries lined up along I-15 one after another from the north to the south end of that metroplex, so they not only drill oil close-by, but they have plenty of refining capacity for a good many states surrounding them. If memory serves, the Mormon capital had the second dirtiest air of any American city at the time, after Los Angeles.
