Wednesday, I sat staring at a blank screen...

I had an idea for one of my Gummint Cheese comic strips, but I couldn't figure out a way to make it work.

It had to do with altering a line from The Karate Kid, a movie I hadn't thought of in years.

It was a punchline I couldn't find a joke for, so I gave up.

Pat Morita, who as Mr. Miyagi, said the original line, died Thursday.
