Nope, no bias there!

Ron Paul wins Nevada straw poll.

So what does MSNBC use as the headline?

ROMNEY LOSES NV STRAW POLL

Ron Paul is mentioned twice in the article. Romney is mentioned eight times in the body of the piece, plus once in the headline and once in a correction.

I guess we know who MSNBC is pulling for.

I am not a bug; I am a real person and I support Ron Paul.

That's the gist of this online petition.

To demonstrate that all those online polls where Ron Paul wins haven't been hacked, the author of the petition came up with the idea of uniquely identifying 6000 Ron Paul supporters and sending it to the media whiners who think it's all a big conspiracy.

He's a tenth of the way there.

Go sign.

P.S. Pass it on; that'll really piss 'em off! :)

P.P.S. Do the media whiners have any evidence that the "massive coordination" of poll respondents will not be followed by equally massive coordination on primary day?

Show of hands, people.

Anyone else notice how CNN and the rest of the liberal media keep referring to "crumbling infrastructure" as if it's an objective fact instead of the subjective characterization that it is?

Can I am be an intellectually-elite?

Nowhere in my first post did I say I was "anti-blogging". Quite to the
contrary, I said to bloggers who want to take the Democratic Party back into the
big tent, "God bless you and thank you." I was quoted saying after the Webb
election that the "bloggers" led the way. As Casey Stengel said, "You can look
it up." The problem I've got is I'm "anti-losing" and don't like a small group
of intolerant, intellectually-elites continuously trying to shape the "Big Tent" into a "Pup Tent". The blogs are the Democratic Party's greatest source of power and unity. Why would I am be anti-blogging? In other words, I wasn't talking to all of you. Just some of you.

You expect a typo now and then with blogs. They don't have editors to handle these things, after all.

Unless they're run by Big Media.

Like Time.

Here's a screenshot, because Mudcat will undoubtedly go back and fix it now that the anti-intellectually-eliteness of it has been exposed.

A.P. *still* willfully refuses to get the point . . .

. . . of the whole Monica Lewinsky thing.

They are implying a hypocrisy on Newt Gingrich's part because Newt had an affair during the whole Monica episode. No hypocrisy exists on this.

I'll try to spell it out for them yet again.

It's not the affair that got Clinton impeached; it's the lying under oath.

He's an adult.

So why are Big Brother and/or Big Ed and/or Big Media keeping the name and nationality of the MU-Rolla quasi-terrorist a secret?

University spokesman Lance Feyh described the 22-year-old man as an "international" student but did not reveal his name or nationality.

UPDATE: The Rolla Daily News identifies the man as "Sujith Venkatramolla, a 22-year-old graduate student," "from India."

My own digging reveals little on the internet about him. Here he left the following comment on something called the Valmiki Group:

Here's an enlargement of his picture. Sorry about the image degradation due to the resizing.

And here, he apparently won some competition in his homeland.

UPDATE 2: After I emailed this post to them, KY3 now has an article up.

This first graphic is from my stat counter. Keep in mind it is set to the Eastern time zone.

[Graphic removed by blogmaster.]

This second one is from the bottom of KY3's article.

Nice of them to mention where they got their tip from.

In case you can't tell, that last bit is what we call sarcasm.

UPDATE 3: (3-1-07) I got a nice email from Perrie Campbell complimenting me on my work, and another from the same person asking if I could obscure the part of the graphic that listed KY3's IP address because his (or her?) employer might not be amused. Since my point was made, I removed the graphic.

KY3 used the picture I dug up on their noon newscast yesterday, but again no mention of me. I can kind of understand that on a newscast, where there is no time for extraneous information, but you'd think they could mention this little blog somewhere in their online edition.

Arrogance and presumption worthy of Big Media.

Pajamas Media has the gall to decide FOR it's readers whether or not they would vote for Ron Paul.

AND to engage in historical revisionism about it's previous polls.

PAJAMAS MEDIA is to POLLING what DIEBOLD is to VOTE TALLYING.

Are we sure Ted Turner and Michael Eisner aren't running the joint? Because when THEY did such things, real bloggers bitched about it.

They didn't emulate it.

Fuck you, Pajamas Media. Let me know when and if you regain your integrity and put Ron Paul back on the poll.
